In celebration of the History Month, the National Quincentennial Committee (NQC) launches the Himig Bagani: Bagani Song Cover Online. All musicians and music enthusiasts are invited to produce their own rendition of Roel Rostata’s “Bagani,” the theme song of the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines (2021 QCP).
Interested participants should upload their song cover on their personal Facebook account, tag the Facebook page of the NQC (@nqc2021), and use the hashtags #VictoryAndHumanity and #HimigBagani.
The chosen song cover will be featured on NQC’s official Facebook page. Exclusive freebies will be given to the contributors.
This activity will run from 9 August to 27 April 2021.
In 2021, the country will commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan, the Philippine part in the first circumnavigation of the world, and other related events, collectively known as the 2021 QCP.
